Maori Business Facilitation Service

Maori Business Facilitation Service - Fully funded

The Maori Business Facilitation Service (MBFS) helps new and existing business owners with information, advice and guidance to help them improve their business performance. It is a free service available to any Maori business owner or trustee, or to Maori entrepreneurs ready to implement their business idea.

Benefits to you from business mentoring

You should emerge better equipped to manage your business operations and to work 'on' your business more (rather than 'in' it). Those in business should be more motivated, encouraged and enabled to grow and sustain their business. Those yet to start up should understand what is in front of them and required to make their business idea a reality.

We work in a way that fits you - working face-to-face/kanohi-ki-te-kanohi on the priority issues that we identify and agree on. Because your business ideas are the driver and not ours, your needs are paramount. Our collaborative approach to mentoring means that we will use our extensive networks to match you with the right person for the job.

Business mentoring creates a personal relationship between you and a skilled business advisor. It can give you a fresh perspective, a solution to a business issue, helpful advice or just someone neutral to talk things over with. Our people are empathetic to the needs of Maori business, and we listen! We have a genuine desire to make a difference to you and your whanau.
